Dear Recycline Friend,

 |
After getting many emails from customers and friends asking for more information on our products and the green consumer movement, we are launching Recycline's Recyclables eNewsletter. It's a way to connect with you and give you juicy e-tidbits that we hope you will find useful and interesting.
(You are receiving this email because you have reached out to us – if you do not wish to be on this mailing list, please see below on how to opt-out.)
We also hope to use this e-newsletter as a way to hear more from you – your comments and suggestions about our Preserve™ brand products and the way we do business. It is our goal to run our company and deliver our products to you in a way that is most respectful of our Earth and Mother Nature, and we want your opinions on how we are doing. There is always room to do more and do what we are doing better. So please connect with us and let us know what you think.
Thank you for your continued support.

Preserve the Earth
At Recycline we often wonder – how can we improve existing manufacturing processes to be more earth friendly? For example, much of our recycled plastics come from businesses who previously threw them in landfills. Thankfully, many businesses have come to realize the value of not paying the landfill tipping fees and avoiding the impact to the environment of transporting reusable materials to landfills. That said, a good amount of our working week at Recycline is spent on efforts to change behavior and convince the manufacturing foreman to hold on to and box those plastics, wait for our pick up, and then yes, invoice us for the plastics that we now buy from them that they once paid to send to a landfill. A great example of how this model can work is Recycline's partnership with Stonyfield Farm®, where they send us recycled yogurt cups that can be reused to make our toothbrushes and razors.
It is an exciting time, when business can get together and achieve financial gains along with environmental gains. The rising price of oil reflects the depletion of the resource and the extra effort needed to get more – positively, this price increase has caused other companies to search for recycled and recyclable plastics. Recycline has worked with the following companies (and several others) to recycle out-dated, unusable products or packaging: Stonyfield Farm, Dannon, Organic Valley, Swiss Valley, Church & Dwight.
Keep watching this space for profiles of what other companies are doing to preserve the earth and tips on what each of us can do as consumers to live a little greener. |
